DATA RETENTION SCHEDULE

• Messages, feed posts and media metadata: default TTL 72 hours, configurable from one hour to 30 days.
• HumanGuard security events: about 14 days.
• Mood check-ins: up to 30 days.
• Presence signals: online status about 180 seconds; the basic member row may remain until deletion or cleanup.
• Call signals: short-lived, usually minutes.
• Profiles, contacts, notification tokens and reports: until deleted, operationally expired or no longer needed.
• Actual media files: until content deletion, storage cleanup or the retention rule applied by active storage. Metadata deletion alone must not be treated as proof that the physical file was deleted.
• Legal/privacy requests: while open; closed requests are scheduled for deletion after 180 days unless legally needed.
• Infrastructure backups and logs: according to a documented provider/operator schedule that must be finalised before release.
